Yes. MC services are included in every Zapend package, not an add-on. That means professional announcements for ceremony, cocktail hour transitions, first dances, toasts, cake cutting, and reception throughout the night.

Yes. Many of our couples plan from out of state including Texas, Kansas, Illinois, and Tennessee and are marrying in Colorado for the landscape. We are experienced with destination wedding planning, work remotely through video consultations, and have no additional fees for couples planning from outside Colorado.

Yes. If you have Spanish-speaking guests or want announcements, toasts, or traditions like La Vibora de la Mar or La Hora Loca handled in both languages, we do that. Many of our clients specifically book us because they need a DJ who actually understands the music and the culture, not just someone who owns a few Latin playlists.

La Hora Loca is a Latin wedding tradition where the reception turns into a high-energy party with props, noisemakers, and a big shift in music, usually about an hour or two into the reception. We have coordinated La Hora Loca at many Colorado weddings and handle the music, timing, and energy so it lands the way it should.

Yes. We take requests throughout the night and use our judgment to work them into the flow without killing the energy on the floor. You can also set limits on requests in advance if there are genres or artists you want to keep off the floor.

Yes. After booking you get access to our client portal where you fill out your timeline, song selections, must-play and do-not-play lists, and ceremony details. It includes pre-built playlist inspiration for every part of the day. Everything is organized before we ever get on a planning call.

A DJ plays and mixes music. An MC handles all the spoken parts of your event, including welcoming guests, cueing the wedding party entrance, introducing the first dance, prompting toasts, and keeping people informed throughout the night. Most DJs offer one or the other. At Zapend, both are included in every package.
