Zapend Entertainment was founded in 2024 with one goal: to give every guest a night they will not forget and every client a personalized experience built around them.
After years working across radio, bars, clubs, and private events, Magdiel kept seeing the same gap. Couples with diverse guest lists, deep cultural traditions, and a specific vision for their night, but no real consultation, no one who understood their music, and no DJ who had taken the time to learn what that night actually meant to them.

Where Skill Meets Soul
Magdiel holds a Bachelor's degree in Music (Recording Arts and Music Business) from CU Denver and a Master's in Entrepreneurship. He has over 10 years of professional DJ experience spanning on-air radio at KGNU, public events, bars, clubs, and hundreds of private events and weddings across Colorado.
Born and raised on the El Paso–Juárez border, Magdiel brings a rare combination: formal music training, business systems, and deep cultural fluency across genres and traditions. His clients are engineers, nurses, teachers, and military families; people who plan carefully and expect a vendor who matches that standard. He built Zapend to be exactly that.
Favorite part of the job: the moment when a guest who swore they wouldn't dance ends up being the last one off the floor.
